Primary doctor Diabetes Mellitus
I am a Primary Care Physician specializing in Diabetes, Nutrition, and Metabolic Diseases, with extensive clinical experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, and comprehensive management of metabolic disorders. Throughout my professional practice, I have accumulated solid experience in caring for both adult and pediatric patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
My clinical approach is individualized and tailored to the unique characteristics and needs of each patient, with the dual objective of achieving optimal metabolic control while preserving a high quality of life. I am experienced in the utilization and interpretation of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems, as well as in the management of patients on insulin pump therapy and those monitoring their diabetes through conventional methods.
A significant part of my practice is dedicated to obesity and weight management through the evaluation of underlying causes and risk factors, alongside the formulation of personalized therapeutic strategies based on nutritional counseling, lifestyle modification, and, when indicated, medical therapy. Additionally, I pay special attention to patients with dyslipidemia and hyperuricemia—conditions frequently associated with diabetes, obesity, and heightened cardiovascular risk. Managing these conditions aims not only at normalizing laboratory parameters but also at preventing long-term complications.
I firmly believe that medicine encompasses more than treating a disease; it is built on prevention, patient education, effective communication, and establishing a relationship of trust. Every patient is unique, and therapy must be aligned not only with the diagnosis but also with their lifestyle, individual goals, and realistic ability to adhere to recommendations. My goal is to provide every patient with attentive, personalized medical care grounded in current best practices, ensuring optimal metabolic control and a healthier life
