Dr. Lavinia Nicoleta Șotîngă is a Specialist Physician in Endocrinology with a solid clinical background in the field of endocrine and metabolic disorders. Currently, she practices at the "Dr. Alexandru Simionescu" Municipal Hospital in Hunedoara, as well as in the private sector at the Hylux Med Clinic in Timișoara and MaximVest Med in Deva.

Her clinical experience includes an extensive period as a resident physician in endocrinology (2018–2025), complemented by a year of training as a resident physician in diabetes, nutrition, and metabolic diseases (2017–2018) at the Timișoara training center. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine (class of 2016), holding a Bachelor's degree in General Medicine.

Dr. Șotîngă possesses specific competencies in advanced imaging and diagnostics, performing thyroid and parathyroid ultrasounds, thyroid elastography for malignancy risk screening, and interpreting DEXA scans for osteoporosis management.
