Dr. Malgesia-Sabina Căpățînă

I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca (UMF Cluj).

I have been a Neonatology Specialist Physician since 2023, following five years of training, with clinical rotations completed in hospitals in Cluj-Napoca and Sibiu, as well as multiple participations in national and international congresses and conferences.

To further expand my knowledge and broaden my area of expertise, I decided to pursue a second specialty in Pediatrics, and I am currently a 4th-year Pediatrics resident physician.

I particularly enjoy supporting young parents at the beginning of their journey and following the development of their children. A good start during the first month of life can have significant long-term benefits. In addition, I provide counseling and guidance for cases involving at-risk or premature newborns. These children require careful long-term monitoring and multidisciplinary management in order to prevent further complications.
