Dr. Sebastian Pavel is a specialist physician in neurosurgery, focusing on cerebral and spinal pathologies at the Brain Institute – Monza Hospital, Bucharest.
His passion for neuroanatomy began in the early years of medical school and was strengthened through the in-depth study of dozens of specialized volumes. In 2017, while a fifth-year medical student at “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, he won the neurosurgery competition organized by the Brain Institute, impressing with his solid knowledge and dedication to the specialty.
During his residency, he directed his training toward skull base tumor surgery, a highly complex field. Today, he is part of the multidisciplinary team at the Brain Institute, where he actively contributes to the diagnostic process and surgical planning for patients with brain tumors, being recognized as a meticulous and rigorous diagnostician.
