My name is Anca Pădurariu. I am a clinical psychologist accredited by the Romanian College of Psychologists and an integrative psychotherapist in training.
Here are a few things about me:
After more than 10 years of working in the corporate environment, I felt the need to be closer to people. This is how my role as an English language trainer emerged, driven by a genuine desire to help—especially adults who were struggling with the fear of speaking a foreign language.
Over time, I realized that beyond grammar and vocabulary, the real challenge was emotional: fear of making mistakes, shame, perfectionism, and anxiety. My studies in psychology helped me support people not only in the learning process, but also in overcoming these emotional blocks.
The feedback from my trainees became a turning point. Many told me that, in addition to learning English, they managed to understand the source of their fear and gain more confidence in themselves. This is what motivated me to move forward and resume my professional path in psychology, continuing with training in integrative psychotherapy.
Today, I work with adults on real-life topics such as burnout, workplace difficulties, boundary violations, relationships, time management, anxiety, as well as other challenging experiences like the loss of a significant person. The integrative approach allows me to work flexibly, in depth, and in a way that is tailored to each individual’s needs.
Sometimes, the first step is not finding solutions, but having a safe space where you can speak freely.
