Hello! I’m Lucian Lipcanu, a clinical psychologist with the right to independent practice and an integrative psychotherapist in training, as well as a member of the Romanian College of Psychologists.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the main factor of change in therapy, and that it is built on respect, kindness, honesty, and equality. In therapy, I do not take a superior position; rather, I am here to accompany you on your journey. You are the expert in your own life.
I believe there are no perfect formulas or methods that work the same way for everyone. We are complex beings in whom multiple dimensions come together—emotional, spiritual, cognitive, behavioral, and physiological. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore and integrate these dimensions, so that you can move closer to unlocking your potential and achieving a higher level of functioning. I believe that taking responsibility for one’s own emotions, thoughts, and actions is the first step toward growth and development.
