Licensed clinical psychologist, specialized in psycho-oncology, certified oncology patient navigator, and active member of IPOS (International Psycho-Oncology Society). I am the sum of my life experiences, having gathered over time fragments from the lives of people who have shared with me both their joyful and their difficult moments. Over the years, I have worked with children and adolescents (personal development, overcoming critical life moments), volunteered in underserved communities, and since 2018 I have been working in the oncology field with both patients and healthcare professionals, serving as a genetic testing consultant.
My goal is to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment, where the need to be heard, supported, and accompanied throughout one’s journey can be met, as I believe that the benefits of therapy are deeply connected to the therapeutic relationship. The journey begins with the first step.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution- and resource-focused brief therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, as well as other methods when they are more suitable for a specific situation. I have experience in alleviating distress and anxiety, restoring motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, overcoming pain and loss, and addressing PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder).
