Senior Rheumatologist, MD, PhD, with 26 years of experience in the medical field, with subspecialization in pediatric rheumatology and extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of autoimmune and autoinflammatory rheumatic diseases.

She has advanced expertise in musculoskeletal and locomotor ultrasound, including musculoskeletal ultrasound assessment of patients with hemophilia, Doppler ultrasound in large-vessel vasculitis, and nailfold capillaroscopy.

Her clinical experience is complemented by her work as a clinical trial investigator, with active involvement in providing patients with access to innovative therapies and treatments currently undergoing regulatory approval. Her professional practice focuses on the assessment and treatment of complex rheumatic diseases, ultrasound-guided injections, musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations in both adults and children, capillaroscopy, as well as the enrollment of eligible patients in innovative therapeutic programs and clinical trials.

In addition to her clinical activity, she is actively involved in the medical education and training of young rheumatologists and hematologists, as well as in the development of specialized medical services and structures. Her professional projects include the establishment of a Center of Expertise in Autoimmune and Autoinflammatory Musculoskeletal Diseases and a Pediatric Rheumatology Center.
